Scouting at St. Joseph's

Pack 828
The scouting program is open to boys starting in the first grade. The boys spend their first years in the Cub Scout pack building character and learning basic skills.  The older cubs, called Webelos begin to work on more advanced skills as they prepare to transition to the troop.

Troop 828
About age 11, a boy transitions into the Boy Scout Troop where he'll spend the next 10 years improving his character and building a variety of skills.  The program for the older boys is built around outdoor activities such as camping.  Regularly scheduled activities include: The Flying Trip, Summer camp, Rifle Shooting, Morning Swim, Caving, and AP hikes.

Meetings
The pack and troop meet on the second and fourth Sunday of each month after the High Mass.

Boys Forum
The scouts operate an on-line boys forum to share information on boys activities.  The URL is http://boysforum.stjoesrichmond.org/
